I learned to drive at 15 and got my license at 16. I learned on a manual transmission.
I don't really have an opinion about this, but is there a reason you waited to teach your sons but not your daughter?

I have 3 kids 2 in college and 1 is in junior high with the boys we waited until they were in college to teach them how to drive. However, with our daughter, we are considering letting her get her license at 16.
