Eternal maiden here!
This article is long but worth a read. It is funny and sharp but like all red pill-adjacent content, not always nuanced or accurate.
However I do think it is interesting how the author frames maidenhood as a public role and motherhood as a private one. She frames weddings as a funeral for the maiden as she enters the wife ("mother") role.
I do wonder if my own ambivalence through my 20s and now my 30s when it comes to children is because I have embraced the eternal maiden going on the hero's journey. Much to consider.
