Wow. As a disabled person myself... these people need to get over themselves. Then get help. Or get a spaceship and disappear into another galaxy, where they can live in their own totally non-toxic, "all-inclusive" commune. I bet it would be a success.
Covid made some people crazy
I don't even know what to say about this whole saga.
Here's a good write up about how this whole drama unfolded (it is a bit snarky): Here

Checking Tumblr was a bad idea. Some people actually believe this is a conservative psyop to further divide progressives...
I'm just wondering how these people live their day to day lives. Do they not have jobs? Do they not go grocery shopping? Is the mask-mandated lesbian bar really the only place they socialize?
Here’s a podcast which has audio clips from airing of grievance sessions from patrons. Wild.

I'm so excited to listen to this! I used to listen to blocked and reported once in a while but I haven't tuned in for a while. At one point they did an episode on someone I knew in high school.
Edit: this is a bit off topic, but I just don't have enough time to listen to podcasts to justify being a paying subscriber. I wish there was a way to pay for what you want to listen to.
The linked one is the a shorter unlocked version. The full 3 hour episode required a subscription, but this one shouldn’t.
But agreed I don’t really have the time to listen to enough podcast to justify paying for them.
Yeah I'm listening to it now. Sadly it is not as insane as I was expecting it to be, and I think that is because I have seen behavior like this so much that nothing shocks me anymore.
My favorite part so far is when this exchange happens:
The owner of the bar: "we have to pay thousands of dollars to the landlord on Monday, we are super broke"
Angry patron: "this is not in line with anti-racism, covid conscious policies and revolution"
Yeah it’s mostly just snippets of one particular person going off. It’d be interesting to hear the whole call unedited.
