Are billionaires inherently bad?

I used to be one to say things like "there is no such thing as an ethical billionaire."

Most people in my circle would probably agree with that statement too

But now that I am in the midst of my own venture, I understand just how fucking hard it is to start a company. I also see that most people don't have the stomach for it, not because you have to be ruthless, but because you have to have a lot of resilience when things feel slow.

I don't want to pretend that there are no companies that are exploitative of their customers, their workers, the environment, etc.

But I think it is unwise to assume that scale = exploitation.

So here's my question: Is it possible to build something massive without exploiting anyone along the way? Or does the system eventually force your hand?

Would love to hear your thoughts
