Am I dumb?

I don’t understand what this is saying. The hypotheticals are absurd. I can’t even conceptualize what it would be like to have my head transplanted onto a different body. Like how could that even work? Hasn’t my brain and body trained certain neural pathways throughout my body through my whole life? Transferring my head is going to be like giving a person a book in a different language they don’t know how to speak.

I don't buy that putting my head on another body wouldn't change major things about my personality. What if they put my head on the body of an Olympic Gold medalist? Wouldn't having that extra boost in speed or strength impact how I perceive the world?

Even when people get normal transplants (like kidneys, or heart+lung, or liver) sometimes the recipient suddenly develops new food preferences or even allergies.

Just because your limbs and your organs aren't responsible for thinking and speaking doesn't mean that the way your body functions isn't an important part of who you are.
